Cruise south through the scenic landscape and water meadows of the South Oxford Canal. Moor up at the old wharf at Fenny Crompton and enjoy a pint at its waterside pub. Then it’s on to Cropredy, home to the famous annual folk festival, as well as a selection of pubs and other facilities. Banbury has a good canalside shopping centre, and the famous “Banbury Cross”. Carry on to Lower Heyford, a short walk from the beautiful Rousham House and Gardens before arriving at Oxford, city of dreaming spires and home to the fabulous Ashmolean Museum.
